Newcastle is located in south-west Shropshire, south of Shrewsbury, north west of Ludlow. From the A49 at Craven Arms (25 miles south of Shrewsbury), head west along the B4368 Clun Valley road.

Through, Aston on Clun, Clunton and Clun, cross the river (yes, River Clun) and turn right at the signpost pointing to Newcastle and Newtown. Three miles further and you are in Newcastle.

When coming into the village, Village MapThe Crown Inn is on the right hand side.  Continue past and on to the crossroads where you will turn right on to Church Road.  A brown sign pointing to the campsite (300 yds) is on the finger post.  Proceed past the school and the entrance to the site is a further 50 yards on the right. Follow the conifer hedge down the tarmac drive and the camping field is on the left.  On arrival, please make yourself known at the house (red brick with conservatory attached).

* Please note that some satnav units will direct drivers away from the B4368 and onto single track roads which can be a problem for those with trailers or caravans. You should stay on the B4368 from Clun until you arrive in Newcastle.

The nearest railway station is at Craven Arms. This is on the main Manchester to Cardiff line with connections to other destinations at Shrewsbury and Hereford.
